1. Why have I been invited to the Lecturing in English course?
It has been the aspiration of the Lecturing in English (LecturE) program to train content-area educators so that they are able to deliver their lessons smoothly in English through the program's various language-based activities.

2. Why should I join this course?
Your participation in this course will enable you to gain wide exposure to the systematic and comprehensive classroom communication skills; improve communication skills for teaching and learning purposes and boost your English proficiency to be used as a language of classroom instruction. You will also take part in interesting and beneficial activities during the course such as the fun-filled Out-of-Class Language-Based Activities (OLBA), practical training sessions and interaction in practice. Furthermore, its syllabus is based on the needs analysis study that identifies certain aspects of the lecturers' linguistic competence which require immediate attention. It is constantly being reviewed to ensure that the training program remains relevant and effective.

3. What will I have to do during the course?
The course requires participation in training sessions – (lectures, presentations and language based outdoor activities).

4. Do I need to bring anything with me?
Apart from the necessary items needed for attending any course like clothings and stationery, you will also need to bring sports attire for the outdoor activities (OLBA) don't forget your umbrella too.

5. How much will this program cost?
The registration fee for the program is MYR 500/USD 180 per participant inclusive of program materials and certificate.

The accommodation package is inclusive of 4D3N accommodation at Colmar Tropicale - berjaya Hills (Bukit Tinggi), breakfast, lunch, refreshments (morning & afternoon tea breaks), dinner, supper and complimentary entrance pass to Colmar Tropicale, Japanese Village and Botanical Garden.

Superior Room (Single occupancy)
MYR 954/ USD 318 nett per person per package / 4 days 3 nights

Delure Room (Single occupancy)
MYR 1044 / USD 348 nett per person per package / 4 days 3 nights

Delure Room (Twin-sharing)
MYR 714 / USD 238 nett per person per package / 4 days 3 nights

6. What is the preferred mode of payment?
Institutional check is preferred. Local Order (LO) is only accepted if a copy of the LO reaches the secretariat before 10 SEPT 2012. Payment of the registration fee should be made to "Bendahari UiTM Pahang". All letters should be marked 'Attention: Ahmad Daud Ibrahim'. No refunds shall be given for cancellations.

7. Do I have to book the hotel room in advance?
Yes. You need to contact the Berjaya Hills management to reserve the room. We have arranged for a special accommodation rate (4 days/3 nights) for our participants (subject to availability). Please book early if you want to be eligible for this special rate. The accommodation package is inclusive of 4D3N accommodation at Berjaya Hills – Colmar Tropicale (Bukit Tinggi), breakfast, lunch, refreshments (morning & afternoon tea breaks), dinner, supper and complimentary entrance pass to Colmar Tropicale, Japanese Village and Botanical Garden.

8. So, what should I do to register?
Firstly, please submit the Registration Form to the LectureE6 secretariat. Then, send the Room Reservation Form to the Berjaya Hills management before 10 SEPT 2012.
